Johanna Sandell is a seasoned vocalist and artist with over 20 years of experience in the music industry – as a live performer, studio singer and songwriter. Trained at the Pop & Jazz Conservatory in Helsinki, she has worked across genres from pop and soul to jazz, folk, and musical theatre.
Her professional journey began as a teenager with a record deal at Universal Music, followed by national tours and collaborations with well-known Finnish artists and producers. She has participated in the Finnish Eurovision selections both as a soloist and background vocalist and has performed in hundreds of shows – from intimate acoustic gigs to high-profile events abroad.
After spending eight years as a full-time singer in Dubai, performing in five-star hotels and creating custom music for international clients, Johanna returned to Finland with a renewed focus on her own artistic voice. She is known for her deep emotional expression, her ability to interpret lyrics across multiple languages, and her talent for making songs truly her own.
In 2025, she competed in The Voice of Finland, making it all the way to the Live Shows. Her unique interpretations and heartfelt stage presence were praised by both coaches and audiences, marking an important chapter in her return as a solo artist.
Today, Johanna continues to explore new creative projects, combining her rich experience with a fresh artistic drive – writing music, reinventing classics, and sharing her voice with the world.
